Mel trained at the Royal Veterinary College prior to qualifying in 2000 as an RVN, she has worked in small animal practice ever since enjoying all aspects of nursing and treating all patients like her own.
More recently in December 2025 she joined Aspen Vets.
Outside of work she enjoys beach walks with her baby boy Paddy, a crazy fun-loving Irish setter aswell as socialising with her family and friends. She also has a very affectionate ginger rescue cat called Marshall at home.
